2016-17

Applications for the Cambridge University International Development Society (CUiD) Committee ’16-17 are OPEN

…until April 30th!

The Cambridge University International Development (CUiD) has had a great year and has welcomed some excellent speakers including the likes of former Oxfam CEO Barbara Stocking. We have also hosted the kick-off for this year’s ANLAP development report and produced an excellent edition of our ‘Vision’ magazine. The society is now seeking to recruit a new CUiD Committee for 2016-17. So if you are interested in getting involved in international development and the complex issues that surround it, please join the CUiD committee! It’s a great experience, in which you meet a variety of amazing people in international development, and it all looks fantastic on a CV.

You can find out about the available Committee positions here: https://35.247.70.5/about-us, along with email addresses to enquire further about any role you are interested in. Please also feel free to email Martin at president@cuid.org about any of the positions and any other questions or concerns you might have. None of the positions require any specific experience – just be enthusiastic about international development and keen to get involved! Worried about making another time commitment? No need to worry, the committee is structured in a way to allow for varying levels of involvement and responsibility.

If you’re keen to stand for a position, please complete the following quick application https://goo.gl/forms/ACv1C5LZ5b by Saturday, April 30th at midnight. Applicants will hear back from the selection panel within a week.
